Central Coolant and Gas Supply (ZKV)

We supply our workgroups with technical gases, liquid nitrogen (LN2), and liquid helium (LHe). For this purpose, ZKV maintains a gas storage facility and a fleet of LN2 and LHe canisters. The helium recovery plant, centrally operated by the Garching Technical Operations Department, and the LN2 tank are used and monitored by ZKV.
