Munich Physics Colloquium
The Munich Physics Colloquium is a platform for physics research in the Munich area. It is jointly organized by LMU and TUM, and respective Max Planck Institutes. The lectures cover current topics in physics and related fields, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of modern physics.

The event begins at 16:15 unless a specific start time is noted.
All lectures are open to the public and admission is free.
Presentations will be as accessible as possible to appeal to physics-interested audiences from industry or academia. The speakers are recognized experts in their respective fields, some of them newly appointed scientists in Munich who wish to introduce themselves to a broader audience. The colloquium offers physics students, in particular, a convenient opportunity to become familiar with all the important areas of current physics research over the course of a year.
It is the aim of the Munich Physics Colloquium to bridge the geographical separation of physics between the various research locations in Munich and Garching through a joint event. The alternating venue will also contribute to this.
