Prof. Strunk new chairperson of the ChemCatChem Editorial Board

Chemistry | 22.01.2025

The Wiley catalysis journal ChemCatChem has a new Chairperson for the Editorial Advisory Board. Chemistry Prof. Jennifer Strunk from the School of Natural Sciences at the Technical University Munich (TUM) will contribute to the direction of the journal for the period 2025-2029.

Strunk holds the Professorship at TUM in Industrial Chemistry and Heterogeneous Catalysis and serves on the board of directors for the TUM Catalysis Research Center (CRC). Her expertise in photocatalytic research methodologies, the development of reliable reactors, and contributions to understanding and designing active sites in photocatalysis and catalysis will serve the journal and its readers well. Further, through leadership at the CRC and previously at the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis in Rostock, Strunk is perfectly positioned to support the development of scientific publishing in the field.

The ChemCatChem journal is a peer-reviewed scientific journal from Chemistry Europe, an organization of chemical societies representing over 75,000 chemists, covering heterogeneous, homogeneous, and biocatalysis and published by Wiley-VCH.
