Talent Management und Diversity

Slide 1 of 3

The TUM School of Natural Sciences strives for a culture of appreciation, openness and diversity. The diversity of researchers, staff and students makes our School an innovative and dynamic organization. On this page, you will find information about our offerings. News about events related to talent management and diversity can be found on our TMD wiki blog.

Organization

The Staff Unit Talent Management and Diversity is a School unit which develops, shapes and supports the School's gender and diversity strategy. We work closely with the School's Gender Equality Officers and report to the VD for Talent Management and Diversity.

To better develop and implement our projects, the School has established a Talent Management and Diversity Council (TMD Council), which includes representatives of staff, professors and students, as well as our women's and gender equality officer(s) and people representing disabled persons (meeting twice a year).

Our long-term target is an improved level of information related to all matters concerning career development, gender and diversity.

The list of current TMD Council members is available in our TMD-Intranet.

Illnesses, last-minute appointments and commitments outside of core care hours often present parents with a major challenge. We are happy to support you with the following offers of flexible childcare: nurseries and family rooms, changing tables, and quiet rooms or breastfeeding facilities.

An overview of our offers can be found on the site child care.

Information on booking can be found on the following intranet of the TUM School of Natural Sciences, in the space for Talent Management und Diversity.

Here you can find information, advice and services relating to the compatibility of career or study and family life at TUM. We can provide you with initial information, and we are happy to refer you to our TUM colleagues and network partners

Further information can be found on the page study and work with family.
